Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation on January 1st, 1863. On June 19, 1865 — two and a half years after the people of Texas are informed that, in accordance with a proclamation from the Executive of the United States, all slaves are free. This shirt acknowledges the pride we have as a people in in our Ancestry and the will we have to persevere.
